Born in Southern California, Matt Mullhofer was the son of a public school superintendent. His family encouraged him to get a teaching credential. But in college, Matthew decided to take a different path and enrolled in pre-law courses and interned at a community legal information center.  The legal information center allowed students to work in a legal clinic providing legal information to the students at the university.  It was this experience of helping those in need that prompted him into the direction of pursuing a legal career.

Matthew C. Mullhofer received a Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University, College of Law, emphasizing in taxation, estate planning and business law.  Matthew worked as a law clerk full time during the days and went to law school at night in pursuit of his law degree.  As a law clerk, he was able to find the niche area of practice that he specializes in today in estate and asset protection planning.

In 1999, Matthew opened his own law practice and has not looked back ever since.  As a sole practitioner attorney, Matthew C. Mullhofer is able to take a personal interest in every client case that he works on at his firm.

The typical clients that Matthew serves are families, estates, small to medium sized businesses and entrepreneurs. As a planner, Matthew finds ways to anticipate the needs of the client through consulting and to put a plan into motion that will protect his client’s interests and assets. Matthew’s estate planning and business clients enjoy the flexibility of being able to meet with him in person and discuss their legal needs.

Since 1999, Matthew C. Mullhofer has been an attorney licensed by the State Bar of California and is a member in good standing. Mr. Mullhofer is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the United States District Court, and the United States Tax Court. He has extensive experience in estate planning and asset protection, including trusts, wills, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and domestic corporations. Mr. Mullhofer has also been a featured speaker at many estate planning and asset protection seminars.
